For RTLS systems that simply require low accuracy asset positioning (meters), we use a choice of Bluetooth, GPS, RFID, Sub-GHz and LoRa. These technologies are used to suit a range of requirements and budgets.

For clients and projects that require high positional accuracy (cm), the Nurtured Ultra-Wideband system is used.

Nurtured RTLS is our sophisticated online software platform providing GIS mapping, user, tag and site administration, reports, heat maps and further bespoke functionality.

Ultra-Wideband Positioning - What is it and how does it work?

The Nurtured Ultra-Wideband Positioning system, consists of two simple components:

Anchor ANCHORS
Tag TAGS
Anchor ANCHORS

Anchors are installed at fixed, physical locations at your site. They do not move and we know where they are.

Tags are attached to assets moving around your site. As the asset moves, it's position is determined using the anchor network and Ultra-Wideband "time of flght" radio signals.

The position of assets are then displayed in real time on a map in your browser and stored for further analysis and reporting.

How it works - Safe Test

As well as tracking the position of assets, Nurtured RTLS can also monitor asset status using sensors. For example, a tag may contain a temperature sensor, allowing you to know where the asset is and it's current temperature.

A wide range of sensors can be deployed, ranging from temperature and humidity through to smoke and gas.

This is all achieved using low power, Ultra Wideband radio signals, smart software systems and a fully scalable architecture.

Nurtured Tech offer 3 tiers of products and services

Tier One

  • We provide an initial face to face consultancy service to ascertain your requirements and perform a site survey.
  • Our engineers then install and configure the Nurtured hardware at your site.
  • Central server accounts are created and data API access is granted to your organisation.
  • Once running, your site data is then transmitted to our central servers for storage and delivery via the Nurtured API.
  • Your organisation is then free to develop your own software to meet your requirements.

Tier Two

  • Everything in Tier One plus the following:
  • Access to Nurtured Intel - Nurtured's online software for system administration, management and reporting functionality.

Tier Three

  • Everything in Tier One & Tier Two plus the following:
  • If your organisation is using the Nurtured Multilat positioning system, our digital cartographers create online maps from your supplied plans to plot live asset markers and custom data as necessary.
  • If custom monitoring of asset status is required, Nurtured engineers work with you to design and develop systems according to your requirements. Custom development of hardware and software is our speciality.
  • As required, we implement integration with external systems, such as PLC and SCADA.
